    Seattle & Hama Hama

After taking in the sights of Seattle, we were excited to travel around the scenic Puget Sound towards the edges of the Olympic Forest to celebrate National Oyster Day in style at Hama Hama Oysters. They showed us the whole operation and even saw us on our way with a cooler of their namesakes for the road.

    Goonies never die

After trekking down to cross the mouth of the Columbia River and the state line of Washington and Oregon, we had to stop in Astoria and Cannon Beach to check out iconic Haystack Rock, made famous by our all-time favorite childhood movie, “Goonies”. While we were there, we made sure to stop for a pint or two at Fort George Brewery.

    Passing through Portland

After a glorious pause on the coast, we continued to Portland for just a couple days. While in the PDX, we were able to squeeze in visits to some key spots, such as Le Pigeon, Tusk, Holman’s, and Dan & Louis Oyster Bar to name a few.
