    What a Wonderful Decade!

    Cornerstone could not be more excited to roar into the ’20s with you all! We want to thank our in-house team, our family, our culinary partners, and of course our guests for the amazing journey these past 10 years – you are the reason we do what we do. Let’s take a quick look back, as we prepare for the fun ahead…


    2010: Nantucket

    Once upon a time, two chefs who had recently thrown in the corporate towel to follow their passions on the island of Nantucket made a personal connection. Nick, originally from Syracuse, NY, was cooking at the award-winning Straight Wharf Restaurant. Christine, hailing from Berwyn, PA, was crafting custom-cooking as a private chef with her business “The ACK Experience”. It was love at first bite.


    2013: St. John

    As their love for Nantucket and each other grew, they decided to take a leap together and tie the knot on another beautiful Island… albeit a little warmer. St. John will always hold a special place in their heart.


    2015: Laying the Cornerstone

    Realizing that they had the ingredients to cook up something truly special together, the culinary couple relocated to the Philadelphia area to put their power where their pans were. After Nick spent time planting his roots locally with the Vetri family, they opened Cornerstone together. Every evening since then have said to each other, “Let’s do this again tomorrow.”


    2016-2019: Acquiring Accolades

    It wasn’t long before the kudos started to pile up! Cornerstone has collected complements from some of the area’s top tastemakers, including Wine Spectator, Best of Philly, and Philadelphia Style.


    Leaping into 2020!

    This Leap Year, join us for an apres ski-style celebration of Sonoma wines where proceeds benefit The Bee Foundation for Brain Aneurysm Prevention!
